The world is changing: new technologies, powers and alliances are reconfiguring the coordinates of world and digital politics. We know what we want to move away from: a world and an internet shaped by a few, where capital, coloniality and geopolitical power define the present and future. But how do we actually get there? This session brings the conversation down to the ground, exploring how grassroots communities and social movements around the world are already building alternatives and creating new ways of organising, communicating and shaping technology, while dealing with the geopolitical realignments that define our time
